What book are you reading these days? Or can you recommend a book for me?
I like reading books. These days I am reading 'The Last Lecture' by Pandy Pausch. Actually this is not my book. But the writer's strong will power and attitude toward life impress me. The writer of this book is dying of pancreatic cancer and this book is about his life. Has anyone of you read this book? How did you like it? The best book I 'd like to recommend is 'To kill a mocking bird'. Actually I read it in Korean at first and the father in the novel became a type of an ideal father to me. I remember he was such a strong hearted person and neversurrendered to injustice. I strongly recommend this book to you. What would you like to recommend regardless of language, Korean or English?

Hi~, Anne. I like to read books. But these days I couldn't find time to do it. "To kill a mocking bird" , I saw it through a movie. I like that kind of touching story. But the first book you mentioned is not familar, I want to read someday. I like the book " dead poet society" . I could understand the teacher's mind in that book. Maybe you already read it. You enjoy reading, Anne.
Hello~! Anne. Your question is a good question. But I'm sorry to say that I don't answer your question . As you know, we have no time to read books. but if I can afford to read books, I often read something about humorous books. The reason is that the book always make me laugh. These day I read a book called "humor code" If you want to read the book, I gladly lend the book to you....
Good luck. God bless you
hey, Anne?
I borrowed some books about PPT.
but hated to read it.And I am waiting the time when I need it urgently( I hope it will not happen.)
Another book I borrowed also( I don't spend money on books, which is very bad) is about famous essasys.
When I feel free to read it. I will start to read. HOHOHO

Thank you, Frances. I am sorry, too that we don't have enough time to read books for pleasure..I watched the movie, 'Dead Poet's Society'. It was really touching. I wanna try to read it in book version.
Hi, Window.
I thought you might recommend the Bible to me. Ho ho ho. Actually i never tried The Bible. I will try some day. So, can you find some humorous thing in that book? Then tell me.
Kelly in lovely voice.
It's so kind of you to post the same comment twice( he he he, joking). You don't spend money on books..then where? I do like spend money on books. And I am expecting 'PPT expert, Kelly'.
Hmmm... the book I read few weeks ago is Hwang,Sukyeong's Gaebabbaragy Byeul(개밥바라기별). The title means venus. it's his real story of youth. Even though the backgournd of the time he experienced was very different from I passed, I thought his feelings and experiences were very similar that I've had when I was young. Now, I'm thinking try to read 'Don Quixote';)
Hi Anne,
I've heard that The Last Lecture was quite moving. I'm not sure that I could read it without crying all the way through.
I recommend How To Change The World - Social Entrepreneurs and the Power Of New Ideas. It is about people who have started companies that 'help' the world rather than just make money. It's very inspirational.
Hi, Anne
I don't read any books except some English books. So I'll recommend you an English pronunciation book.
The name is "기똥찬 영어발음 강의" by Yoo Won ho, a professor of Seogang university. We already know a lot about pronunciation but it is still useful. See you..
Hi, Sharon~
Interesting book choice, 'Don Quixote'. Is there any reason you choose the book? It was in the elementary Korean book, I remember. I wanted to see the musical but i missed the chance. If it comes again, I will.
Ann, I was not big into reading books. But, to be honest, much more than normal people. In my twenties, I liked Nikoskazanchakis, greek novelist and poet. Among his works, I liked greek zorba so much. Absolutely, right now I'd like to live as if I were Zorba. But, to be like that kind of person, I should be brave against myself, that is, my sprit should be awaken against the outside world, prejudice, laziness sorrounding me, above all strong power of energy on our life.
I am enough too coward to live like that. Hence, I might be envious about that life.
Even though, I can't live like that, but, I still dream.
Anne, have a good time with your husband. See you tomorrow.
